Here are some ways to save your data subscription on any phone:

Close apps: Close apps when you’re not using them.

Delete unused apps: Delete apps that you don’t use anymore, even if they’re not running in the background.

Set a data warning and data limit: : Set your phone to send a warning when you’re close to your data limit.

Disable background app update.
Disable background Usage. You can disable this feature completely by going to Settings > General > Background App. You can leave only messaging app like WhatsApp ON for background data.

For Facebook and YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. to avoid automatic video playback, turn off Video Autoplay or select the option “Wi-Fi Only”
